When you have such a sweet, smiley guy to take photos of, it makes for a great day. And Ben made my Monday not have a case of the Mondays. I mean, how can a Monday not be the best with this guy around?

Benjamin came to my studio on a Monday, and having a newborn shoot right at the beginning of the week is a great way to start! He was super relaxed…having 3 older siblings, I bet he’s getting a ton of attention at home and knows he has so many who love and care for him. His grandmothers came with him to the studio, with one of his older sisters, and had a great time relaxing while Benjamin did his first modeling gig. 😉
Getting the details is always important…those sweet lips and fingers:
Benjamin is one of the many boys I end up photographing (if you want to guarantee that you have a boy when you are pregnant, just book me before you find out, and I guarantee, you will have a boy, LOL) this year, but I love to still use color in our wraps and props.
Mixing in some greens and blues with the more neutral grays, creams, and browns, makes me happy. And Ben was the perfect model against these soft tones.
And we sneaked in a few pictures with his adorable older sister:
