The B Family Fall Session | Charlottesville Photographer
This time of year is the time for fall family sessions in Charlottesville!
However, apparently, it’s the spring of the following year when it’s time to BLOG about said fall family sessions.ย ๐
It’s been a very busy winter around here…as many of you know, my editing work is a huge part of my photography business (hence the “+ Design” portion of the business name), and most of the winter was finishing up final editing work and then catching up on life in preparation for this year’s wedding season and new push of editing work.ย Add on that my family is currently working on relocating a bit closer to the city, so the past couple months has been housework and preparation, as well as some photo sessions squeezed in (which I will definitely blog about before the year is over, hah).ย ย Keep following this blog, and cross your fingers for us to sell and find a new home, as I hope to create a bit of studio space to host for newborn, baby, and child photoshoots on occasion!
BUT!
Back to the day at hand.ย A gorgeous sunny afternoon on a warm fall day, I met up with some of my favorite people, the B family!
Jack and Grace are twins, born the day after their mom’s birthday (for her birthday, yes, she went into labor as a present!).ย They are both incredibly bright kids, with incredibly bright attitudes and personalities.ย This is Jack giving me his serious face:
As part of any good family session, I hope to get a shot with mom & each of the kids, but Grace wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to jump in the shot!
LOOK at this girl!!!ย Can you BELIEVE her eyes?ย I literally.ย Can’t.ย Even.ย ๐
We met at Monticello Trail, a favorite spot of mine…great for wonderful backdrops and pretty lighting, and fun spots for the kids to play between photos.
And of course, have to get dad in with the kids, too!ย Again, Grace can’t miss an opportunity for a photo op!
Love these guys!
And the best part of a Monticello Trail shoot is taking some time at the end to climb across the wonderful hollowed out tree trunk at the beginning of the trails:
A great time was had, I think!
Thank you to the B family for staying and “playing” with me.ย ๐
