3 Month Old Ruby | 3 Month Old Photography

What a difference just 3 months makes!  Ruby was a sweet little newborn, but her personality comes shining through at 3 months of age.  Yes, you could say a 3 month old is a wee bit more aware of you taking photos of them.  Unlike a newborn, they are awake, alert, and taking a ton in!  Well, newborns tend to take everything in as well, but a 3 month old can see farther, recognizes their parents face, and smile at their moms & dads!

Another funny thing was Ruby’s grip on all her clothing.  I decided it was probably best to just roll with it…

…than DARE try to take it away from her.   Look right there!  Yeah, I’m pretty sure she was going to take me down if I tried to take that yellow dress out of her mouth.  😉

You can see, Ruby wasn’t too sure of me!  🙂  I was fascinating to her, however.  But getting a smile out of her was hard, but getting intense looks from her beautiful eyes?  Easy!  Her blue eyes are enchanting.

As is her little smirk!

Eh, momma gets the sweet smiles.  I get a wee bit more of the intense look.  Serious Ruby is serious!

Per her name, we definitely had to get her back on the red blanket.  Now she is old enough to hold herself up nicely…all the better to see the world around her!

A fun story, this yellow bonnet is actually “vintage”…it is my husband’s baby bonnet that my mother-in-law passed on to me.  It’s getting a new life now as a photo prop.  I love the colors with those gorgeous eyes of hers!

 Hard to believe that is the same little Ruby just 3 months prior.  And you KNOW, we had to stick with the Ruby Red theme for some comparison shots!

Until the next session…I can’t wait to see how much she’s grown!
