Precious Little One | Charlottesville Newborn Girl

It is so funny, I seem to have many years of boys, and then out of the blue, I have a year full of girls come to my studio!

Reagan came at just a few days old for her session. I had so much fun pulling together soft rose and purple tones for her, mixed of course, with my favorite creams.

And since one of my favorite colors is purple, it’s so fun to get a chance to pull out the lavender tones in my collection.

I’m always happy when the parents want to get into the photos, too, and these two came prepared and ready for their close-up!

And although I always like my newborns to be under 2 weeks of age, when they are still in a nice sleepy, bendy stage. This makes my job a bit easier, since they will sleep deeply while we do their session…we get them nice and warm, and they feel so comfortable they don’t mind being put down for a few minutes. 😉 It also catches them in those first days of life, before they start changing and growing so quickly.

But, sometimes I do my job a little too well, and I don’t get to see them awake, but Reagan woke up just a bit to get a photo of those big beautiful eyes!

Aaaannnd…then she was out again!
