A little cold never held us down | Charlottesville Family Photographer

One of my very closest friends asked me if there was any way I could find time in my busy fall schedule to do some family photos for her?  Uh.  YES!!!  I was so floored that Jodi, an accomplished photographer herself, would pick little ol’ me to trust with her family images.  They traveled down on a chilly day in November, but the fall colors were still holding on!

Their youngest was feeling a little under the weather, but was still such a trooper:

Yes, that is Luke, all grown up!  Well, not quite, he’s still in preschool.  😉  But it’s so fun to see “my babies” grow up.

Speaking of babies, that middle boy, Drew, was one of my first “portfolio babies”…when Skybird Photography started up, I followed a few babies from the beginning to the end of their first year.  It is so hard to remember Drew as the teeny-tiny pre-term baby he was.

Mom getting in the picture is one of the most important things I try to do…we often are the ones holding the camera, and it’s hard to get in there.  So I was definitely honored to do some for Jodi.  <3
