I can’t tell you how much fun I had doing a maternity/family session for my friends Leslie & Tommie, and their gorgeous daughters this past summer. But what brought this active family down to see me in Charlottesville? Well, because the two were expecting their third child, a little boy!
Imagine my delight when Leslie, just 9 days post childbirth, came down again for me to do newborn photos of little Ashton!
Knowing Leslie, who is a fitness guru (check out her FITsSimple Facebook page for inspiration), it wasn’t that surprising that she was full of enough energy to make the drive. But still, I was extremely flattered, with the only downside being that Tommie (also a fitness guru!) and the girls couldn’t come down as well. So, we concentrated on Ashton and his beautiful mother.
Although apparently Ashton was up a lot of the night before (and therefore, poor Leslie was up, too), he was a great sleeper for me. Probably…because he was up half the night before? 😉 Yes, he also STILL spent a fair amount of time waking up, but I love the awake shots, too.
How else would you be able to see his gorgeous eyes?
