Joseph | Forest Lakes Photography Studio

I am so excited to have our new in-home studio for newborn and baby photography sessions, here in Forest Lakes!

Joseph came by at just 8 days old to “break in” the studio space.  He was happy to sleep right through the experience.  😉

Joseph is the newest addition to the P family, who I’ve been lucky enough to photograph their family a few times over the years. 

Joseph is going to love having his big brother Mikey, who is one of my favorite kids to shoot…he makes the cutest (and sometimes silliest) faces, and I see some of the cute in his baby brother:

In my studio, we can use both natural light that comes in through our windows, and studio lighting on those dreary days.  Luckily we had plenty of light to work with, which is lovely for a newborn session.

And, as always, NEVER ever forget these sweet details.  These babies change so much so quickly, I love looking at the sweet lips & toes as they grow.

Seriously, this boy slept like a rock!

If you didn’t already notice, I love working with textures and colors and layers.  My hope is to create anything from vibrant tones of your preference, or softer neutrals, to really show off your baby, and not get too gimmicky or stylized.  I hope these photos of your baby can last the test of time, and will bring smiles to you and your family’s faces for many days to come.
