Expecting Boy #3 | Charlottesville Maternity Photography

Although it never fails:  by the time I get the blog post up (and sometimes even before I get the images finished, if the baby comes a bit earlier than expected!), the baby pictured here in mom’s belly has been born.  So a little late, but I am now getting my act together to show these beautiful late summer images of my friend Stacey and her family, in celebration of Baby Boy #3!

Brian and Stacey already have their hands pretty full with these two crazies, Ian, who you can see below, and Eric who was playing hide & seek behind his Dad’s legs!

But that that just adds to the excitement of a little baby brother on the way.

AH, there’s Eric!  He made an appearance and was a lot of fun, if not also a lot of work.  😉

But it’s no fun if they don’t keep you on your toes!  They had a ton of fun playing (which luckily most of my photoshoots are about having fun!) and climbing trees…a lovely natural setting to enjoy a cool summer evening.

And, yes, tree climbing always comes into play!

I’m so happy to have been able to capture this growing family…we had done a fall family session a couple years prior, so we were overdue for a new family pic.

And Ian is the same age as my daughter (they were in preschool together!) so it’s always great to see how much he’s grown, and Piper enjoys seeing photos of her old friends.

Hopefully he’ll get those 2 front teeth for Christmas.
