Newborn Photos ver. 3, Boy #4 | Crozet Newborn Photographer

I have had the pleasure to not only meet the G family while I was pregnant with my daughter (and they were pregnant with their oldest son), but also of photographing their second, third, and now FOURTH son as newborns!

Baby Neil joined the family and is the perfect fourth child for a busy family:  calm, quiet, and sleeps. A LOT.

To date, I will say Neil was hands-down, the easiest newborn I have ever photographed.  His older brother Simon was quite a great sleeper and snuggly as anything, but Neil even beat him on ease.  He must know right off the bat that he’s entered a family that has this whole baby-thing covered…he’s well taken care of and is going to have 3 big brothers to watch over him!

I always try to grab a photo of Mom with her newborn, as it is hard to remember to get us in the photo.  Most moms might be a bit reticent to jump in front of a camera so soon after giving birth (as if the sleep deprivation wasn’t enough to make one too weary to worry about photos!), but…

Puh-lease.  She looks like a million bucks!

You can’t help but want to snuggle with this guy.

Since Neil was born close to Easter time, his mom borrowed this hat from a friend who used it for her Easter newborn, so of course we had to get a sweet shot of the little bunny.  Asleep.  😉

And for fun, you all know I LOVE comparison photos.  This is a different one, because it’s not a comparison of the same child, but rather the brothers!  Obviously I don’t have photos of the eldest as a baby (as I wasn’t doing newborn photography then, AND I had a newborn of my own!), I do have this comparison of the three babes:  Simon, Reid, and now Neil, in the same hat and on the same blanket!

You can definitely tell these guys are brothers!  Thanks to the G family for letting me capture photos their sons over the years.
