1 Year old Charlie | Charlottesville 1 Year Old Photographer
In between all the fall foliage family photoshoots (check outย that alliteration!), I was able to sneak in a fun shoot for 1 Year old Charlie here in Charlottesville.
Last year I did Charlie’s newborn photos, and he was a wonderful baby.ย All sweet and sleepy, and of course I adore his mom, Jennifer, who is a fellow interior designer by trade.
I also adored Hudson, their chocolate lab, and he of course got in the family picture this year as well.ย I’m not sure if it’s easier to hold on to him with a one-year-old in the shot, or a newborn?ย Either way, he was also a great sport.
In the effort to try & recreate, or perhaps just an homage to, Charlie’s newborn photos, we had to do a shot on the floor of Charlie and Jennifer…I know I say it all the time, but it still floors me that a baby can grow so much in just one year.ย Just look at him as a newborn:
And at age 1!
Crazy, right?
Since Charlie’s birthday is late in the year, we definitely pulled out a bit of a holiday theme to go with the time of year…red sweater, silver ornaments, and cute:
And a very mobile one-year-old is sometimes best kept still in a box.ย ๐
What a cutie!
The weather was still nice with the late fall cool and color, so we grabbed a few more shots outside.
Many thanks to Jennifer and her family for inviting me in another year for annual photos…I hope we can continue the tradition so I can keep seeing Charlie grow!
And a rather belated Happy Holidays (by the time I post this blog!) from Charlie!ย ๐
