Fall Family Sessions Charlottesville | Virginia Family Photographer

The start of the fall is the perfect time to schedule a family sessions in Charlottesville…the good weather (mostly), the pretty leaves (almost always!)…and this fall afternoon did not disappoint.

One of my absolute favorite families came out on a very temperate afternoon at Monticello Trail for a family photo shoot.  You may recognize Sloane, from both her newborn images and her 1-year photoshoot.

And you recognize her big brother, Liam?  He was a great sport and had a ton of fun…and hard to believe for our fall session last year, he was not that far from Sloane’s age, now.  How is that even possible?  Why do they keep growing so fast?

Obviously, we need to start putting books on top of their heads or something to shrink them back to the itty bitties they were just last year.  😉

Although it’s too much fun watching Liam be able to get around on his own on the trail and on the big, hollowed out log at the top of the trail:  every kid’s favorite spot to play!

The leaves were a little drab this year throughout the region, but with just the right light in the back, Charlottesville still made a show of some gorgeous color for our backdrop.
