Vineyard Wedding | 2nd Shooter with Jodi May Photography
A beautiful fall afternoon, a gorgeous mountain vineyard…the perfect spot and day for a wedding?ย I’d say so!
I was asked by my good friend Jodi May of Jodi May Photography to assist with a wedding and then second shoot for this wedding, held at Delfosse Vineyard.ย I came up a bit later in the day, while Jodi was going full-force to finish up formals!ย I went to the reception tent to collect some detail images.ย The setup was stunning!
The flowers were phenomenal (you can see a few of our photos in Photosynthesis Floral Design’s gallery) and I made sure to capture as many shots of them.
As you can see, it was a stunning day!ย Blue skies and not a drop of rain to be seen!
The cake (by 3 Fellers Bakery, the groom’s family!) was gorgeous as well.
Then it was time for everyone to gather for the ceremony on the hilltop.ย It became a tiny bit chilly by the end, but the sun lowering in the sky in the background made for a perfect backdrop.
The bridesmaids wore soft colors, and all carried such beautiful bouquets!ย The adorable flower girl did a great job!
The aisle was decorated with photos of the bride & groom as children.
Congratulations to the bride & groom!
After the ceremony, everyone gathered for a few more family formals while the guests walked down to the reception tent.
With the light falling, the reception tent glowed with strings of lights and candles.
And so the party began!
After dinner and dancing, the bride & groom invited everyone to come out to light lanterns to send off into the night sky.ย It was a beautiful sight!
Congratulations to the couple, and many thanks to Jodi May Photography for the opportunity to assist!ย You can see more of the images here on Jodi’s website.
