I have had the pleasure of taking newborn photos and 1 year photos of the G. Family’s second son.  And, to their pleasure, they now have a third boy to add to the troupe!

We have known Reid’s family for a long time…when I was pregnant with my daughter, we were in the same child birthing class.  Pierce, their oldest son, was born just a couple weeks after Piper.  We met up again when the babies were 5 months old, and have been a part of the best playgroup since!  So I’ve gotten to witness the growth of this family from the beginning.  Meanwhile here they are with 3 kids, and I still have one.  😉

I think the boys are going to be great big brothers to little Reid.  They have a good range of age difference among the group.  I think they all have been transitioning wonderfully!

Since I did Simon’s newborn photos, this was a fun reenactment.  Although Reid’s parents are pretty sure Reid is a spitting image of his oldest brother, Pierce, and I totally agree.

I mean.  Seriously?  He’s a mini-Pierce!

A random factoid:  Reid’s umbilical cord stump fell off during the shoot, which made his mom Kira happy!  There’s a couple photos with it still on, and ones like above without.  So funny, but I about freaked!  It gives you a start when something falls off a baby when you are holding him. 😉
